What’re they about? 

Mousey and sheltered romantic novelist Joan Wilder (Turner) travels to the jungles of South America to help her kidnapped sister.

There she meets Jack T. Colton (Douglas), an adventurer with his own selfish agenda. Together the pair must survive narrow-escapes, snapping crocodiles and an assortment of scheming villains.

A year later Joan and Jack travel to the Nile, where once again they have their mettle tested, with a hero to save, a tyrant to fight and a love to rekindle.

Adventure, comedy, great chemistry and world class bickering all come together to prove that when the going gets tough, the tough gets greedy.
