What's it about?
A 12 year old boy’s life takes an unexpected turn when he wakes up eight years in his future, discovers he’s formed a psychic bond with a sentient alien spaceship, meets said spaceship and has adventures (sort of).
A remarkable film for its excellent early CGI, astonishingly wasted central premise, and for no one being sued by Spielberg.
Kids adventure with not much adventure, but playful direction and fun performances help keep this an enjoyable and semi-nostalgic experience.
